New York City Wedding in an Intimate Garden and Party at one of their favorite Bars in Brooklyn

Rose and Bennett planned an amazing wedding that really captured the essence of them and exactly how they wanted to celebrate their special day. They got ready at the chic and gorgeous Wythe Hotel, and had a very intimate ceremony located in a secret garden in manhattan - a haven that Rose frequented during her work days- and held a special place in her heart. Afterwards, they went and partied hard at one of their favorite Bars and even ordered a Mister Softee Truck to cater to their guests as a dessert! It was SUCH a fun day and I was so excited to be a part of it and capture such a unique New York City Wedding!

Brooklyn City Hall Elopement and Brooklyn Bridge Park Portraits with Margaret & George

Margaret and George invited their close family to be a part and witness their intimate ceremony at the Brooklyn Cityhall in New York City. Margaret’s grandfather who is 102 (!!!!!!) flew all the way to New York City from Texas to come and see his grand daughter be married! It was such a sweet ceremony and we were able to capture such a memorable moment and also beautiful family portraits right after. Margaret and George live in Dumbo and wanted to capture some of their portraits in their neighborhood at Brooklyn Bridge Park - and it was all so beautiful!!

A Rainy Brooklyn Promenade New York City Elopement

This was definitely one of the most interesting elopements I've ever done.  Shot entirely in the pouring rain!  Jackie and Aaron are from LA, California (Peep the LOVE LA street sign in one of these shots later) and their parents were flying in to NYC to witness their union.  Although the forecast had rain at 100%, their parents were only going to be in town this weekend - so we knew it was going to happen- rain or shine! We met at the Brooklyn Promenade; the officiant all ready, and everyone had armed with umbrellas!  I was able to capture their adorable elopement in the rain, surrounded by their family and friends and it was AWESOME!  It was whimsical, romantic, fast paced and definitely the kind of day you'd remember!! Despite the weather, there was a gorgeous backdrop and a lot less people walking around the park (which was really helpful!!)  Jackie and Aaron were all up for everything!! Their upbeat spirit and willingness to get amazing shots DEFINITELY made it all worth it!!  I had so much fun with them and was so thankful that despite some unforeseen circumstances- they were still able to have fun and enjoy their day!!!  Photographing in New York, you really never know what you’re going to get! An Intimate Central Park Elopement at the Ladies Pavilion in New York City

These two lovebirds met in Oxford (yes, the one in the UK). Jen was there, studying for her masters, and James was there, studying for his PhD.  Jen is from New York City, and James is from the UK. They fell in love while rowing together on the same team- so they share an affinity towards boats.  They are the funniest, quirkiest couple I've photographed with yet.  I knew Jen since HS, she's a friend of mine at LaGuardia High School.  Since then, she's gone all over the world to study ancient artifacts, go on digs, and write up our history!  I have a friend that is a REAL archeologist! I love it!! And she is now at Brown University doing her Ph.D and studying all the ancient works of our earth! It is SO cool. Jen and James really wanted a "New York City" wedding.  It was small and intimate affair at Central Park, but afterwards, they wanted to get photographs to remember their time in New York City together.  We hit up pretty beautiful spots in Central Park, and then stopped by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (for history, of course!) and then some over in Brooklyn. (Where Jen is from!).  

It was such a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding ceremony and a beautiful group of people to spend time with. I’m so happy that they chose me to be their New York City Wedding Photographer!!!  I'm so happy for Jen and James and I wish them the best on their journey as husband and wife!
