Our backdrop at the Metropolitan Museum of Art fit them perfectly. Sonya had volunteered there a couple years back and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City held a very dear spot in her heart. They were a really outgoing couple, willing to fight the herds of people at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to get beautiful shots. They were patient and a gorgeous couple and I’m so glad they picked me as their New York City wedding photographer! Later this year they'll be traveling to Michigan and India to celebrate with more festivities! It’s so great to capture New York City’s culture and beauty!
A Sweet Intimate Wedding Photo Session at Brooklyn Bridge Park and on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City
Had the lovely opportunity to photograph this beautiful couple, Kira and Mikhail. They are moving back to Russia soon and wanted to get married in New York City and get some beautiful photos of the city before departing. With her custom painted high heels, and a really cute and simple dress, Kira was beautiful as we photographed throughout New York City! We began the day in Soho then made our way down to Brooklyn. It was a gorgeous day and we got some amazing shots! I love shooting these intimate weddings and moments to allow people to commemorate their time in New York City! Again, another reason why I love being a New York City Wedding Photographer
An Intimate Central Park Elopement at the Ladies Pavilion in New York City
These two lovebirds met in Oxford (yes, the one in the UK). Jen was there, studying for her masters, and James was there, studying for his PhD. Jen is from New York City, and James is from the UK. They fell in love while rowing together on the same team- so they share an affinity towards boats. They are the funniest, quirkiest couple I've photographed with yet. I knew Jen since HS, she's a friend of mine at LaGuardia High School. Since then, she's gone all over the world to study ancient artifacts, go on digs, and write up our history! I have a friend that is a REAL archeologist! I love it!! And she is now at Brown University doing her Ph.D and studying all the ancient works of our earth! It is SO cool. Jen and James really wanted a "New York City" wedding. It was small and intimate affair at Central Park, but afterwards, they wanted to get photographs to remember their time in New York City together. We hit up pretty beautiful spots in Central Park, and then stopped by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (for history, of course!) and then some over in Brooklyn. (Where Jen is from!).
It was such a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding ceremony and a beautiful group of people to spend time with. I’m so happy that they chose me to be their New York City Wedding Photographer!!! I'm so happy for Jen and James and I wish them the best on their journey as husband and wife!
