This was definitely one of the most interesting elopements I've ever done. Shot entirely in the pouring rain! Jackie and Aaron are from LA, California (Peep the LOVE LA street sign in one of these shots later) and their parents were flying in to NYC to witness their union. Although the forecast had rain at 100%, their parents were only going to be in town this weekend - so we knew it was going to happen- rain or shine! We met at the Brooklyn Promenade; the officiant all ready, and everyone had armed with umbrellas! I was able to capture their adorable elopement in the rain, surrounded by their family and friends and it was AWESOME! It was whimsical, romantic, fast paced and definitely the kind of day you'd remember!! Despite the weather, there was a gorgeous backdrop and a lot less people walking around the park (which was really helpful!!) Jackie and Aaron were all up for everything!! Their upbeat spirit and willingness to get amazing shots DEFINITELY made it all worth it!! I had so much fun with them and was so thankful that despite some unforeseen circumstances- they were still able to have fun and enjoy their day!!! Photographing in New York, you really never know what you’re going to get! I was super excited to blog this New York City elopement and hope you guys will enjoy it too!! #iLOVENY !!
New York City Hall Elopement and Wedding Session
Liz and Soni were having a larger affair in a couple of months, but wanted to do something intimate before their big celebration. They decided to go to New York City Hall and have an intimate ceremony first (just the two of them! Plus me as the witness :D) and a sweet portrait session right after! It was such a great time to be able to photograph them in this moment and then wander around downtown New York City together afterwards! It was a nice touch since they were having their wedding in PA and it was a great idea to get some city landscapes and gorgeous wildness landscapes during the wedding day!

Intimate Wedding Ceremony in New York City with Friends and Family
Michelle and Mark, guided by their deep love and a desire for a meaningful celebration, entrusted me, a passionate New York City wedding photographer, to capture their journey. Their decision to exchange vows in the heart of their neighborhood was a testament to their commitment to each other and to their community. Surrounded by the familiar embrace of a cherished church, Michelle and Mark embarked on a heartfelt journey of commitment and devotion. Against this backdrop, their vows echoed with sincerity and love, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and profound.
Following the ceremony, we ventured to a nearby park, where laughter and joy filled the air as we immortalized the love shared between Michelle, Mark, and their cherished friends and family. As a photographer who adores capturing the essence of New York City, I reveled in the opportunity to showcase the unique beauty and energy of this vibrant and diverse city. Continuing the celebration at the Hudson, Michelle and Mark were enveloped in elegance and romance. Against the backdrop of the city skyline, they danced the night away, reveling in the joy of being husband and wife. Their wedding day was a testament to the enduring bond they shared and to the vibrant spirit of New York City. It was an honor to document such a meaningful celebration of love in the greatest and most diverse city in the world.
