Theirs was an intimate ceremony, held in the shadow of the majestic Bethesda Fountain, surrounded by the verdant beauty of Central Park. With only a select few family members in attendance, they exchanged vows that echoed through the tranquil oasis, each word a testament to their enduring love and commitment.

Prior to their ceremony, Jerry and Emily prepared for their momentous occasion at the luxurious 1 Hotel, where the serene ambiance of Central Park provided the perfect backdrop for their prelude to matrimony. As they made their way through the park, anticipation and excitement filled the air, their steps guided by the promise of a lifetime of happiness together.

With my lens poised to capture every cherished moment, Jerry and Emily embarked on a journey that would forever bind their hearts as one. An Intimate and Sweet Pandemic Elopement at Brooklyn Bridge Park - Connie & Joonbo

Connie and Joonbo initially envisioned their wedding taking place in California. However, the onset of the Covid pandemic necessitated a change of plans. Entranced by the allure of New York City, and already residing there, they opted to elope amidst its captivating backdrop rather than postponing their nuptials indefinitely—an understandable decision given the uncertain trajectory of the pandemic.

In July, when Connie approached me, the uncertainty persisted. The operational status of the NYC Marriage Clerk remained ambiguous, casting doubt on their ability to secure a marriage license. Fortunately, luck was on their side as they managed to secure an appointment and obtain the necessary documentation to proceed with their union.

Selecting a picturesque spot in Brooklyn Bridge Park, Dumbo, overlooking the iconic New York City skyline, Jane's Carousel, and the majestic Brooklyn Bridge, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony officiated by their pastor. With only a handful of close friends and Connie's parents in attendance, they ingeniously utilized technology, including iPhones and Zoom, to involve loved ones from afar.

Their celebration was a testament to creativity and resourcefulness. Friends contributed to a homemade cupcake tower, while they indulged in slices from the renowned Juliana's Pizza—a personal favorite. The clinking of champagne glasses marked the beginning of their sweet reception, held right there in the park, a fitting conclusion to their joyous occasion.

Connie and Joonbo radiated happiness, their smiles lighting up the park as they embarked on this new chapter amidst the chaos of the year. It was an honor to witness their love and be a part of their unforgettable day on a sunny day, overlooking the gorgeous New York City skyline in Brooklyn!

From the heartfelt Ketubah signing with their beloved parents to the radiant glow of sunset, each detail of this extraordinary day is a testament to the couple's unwavering bond and the magic of true love. Intimate New York City Elopement at The Groom's UES High School Chapel and Reception at the Luxembourg House

Megan and Chris met in the London— but they both grew up in New York City! So when they got engaged in London, they decided to have a small intimate ceremony with their family and friends back in New York City first then have a bigger celebrating in London after! They chose to have their ceremony at the Chapel at Chris’ High School on the upper east side, have some portraits taken right nearby at Central Park and the ended the night with a light reception at the Luxembourg House.  It was very sweet to celebrate in such a unique space with decades of history and culture. They had envisioned a celebration that felt like a fun and festive house party with their closest family and friends and it very much felt that way!
