Cat & Drew's original Vermont wedding plans were redirected by the pandemic, leading them to host a stunning and chic micro-wedding in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. The day commenced with a breathtaking first look on the rooftop of the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, boasting unparalleled views of the iconic New York City skyline and the majestic Brooklyn Bridge. Their intimate ceremony unfolded in the charming Pineapple Suite within the hotel, followed by a cozy reception adorned with exquisite floral arrangements from Bloomist. Despite the challenges of the year, their wedding was a testament to love, joy, and resilience, reminding us of the beauty found in New York City's intimate moments. It was an absolute privilege to photograph and be a part of such unforgettable celebrations amidst the bustling energy of this city.. and again I’m reminded of why I love being a New York City wedding photographer! From large weddings to elopements, everything is such a joy to capture! Check out some of my favorite shots from the day:

Wedding at the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, New York City
Lin & Joey had their wedding at the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City. I absolutely LOVE this space and one of my favorite wedding venues in New York City! They film a lot of movies, fashion shoots, editorials and commercials in here! They have a ton of odd props and items all over. Not only did they have really cool props, the building itself had so much character to it. Lots of beautiful walls, odd windows that lead to nowhere, tons of mirrors, frames, chairs and antiques!! - it was really a photographer’s dream! I also loved that Lin and Joey allowed me to really enjoy the space and have a feast getting some really amazing shots everywhere I could! Not only did the space itself have a ton to offer, but Lin herself put in a LOT of DIY on decorations, wedding favors and center pieces! It was an amazing day, full of tears, laughter and crazy friends gettin DOWN. But definitely a DAY WELL SPENT!

Prospect Park & Park Slope Brooklyn Engagement Session in NYC
Laurie and Matt wanted to do their engagement session at some of their favorite local spots in Prospect Park & Park Slope Brooklyn. We spent some time at Prospect Park, then maneuvered our way over to one of Laurie's favorite bars. It's always so great to be able to go to more comfortable spots and capture people at places where they feel the most at home. I’m so thankful I am able to be their New york city wedding photographer and I will be photographing their wedding at the Green Building in Brooklyn in a couple of months! Here are some of my favorite shots from the session:
