Claire and Miles were a HILARIOUS couple. Throughout the shoot, Miles kept making Claire (and me!) laugh like crazy. He is quite the jokester and they both were a lot of fun to be around. The two live and breathe Brooklyn and have such a heart for the culture and history. Miles hails from Ireland, but has been living in Brooklyn for some time, so there is now where his heart lies. It's great working with people who love trying interesting and creative ideas for shots. We were able to walk around Williamsburg, then to the rooftop bar at the Wythe Hotel, then end up at the East River Park for a gorgeous view of the New York City skyline! Here are some of my favorite shots of the session:
New York City Wedding in an Intimate Garden and Party at one of their favorite Bars in Brooklyn
Rose and Bennett planned an amazing wedding that really captured the essence of them and exactly how they wanted to celebrate their special day. They got ready at the chic and gorgeous Wythe Hotel, and had a very intimate ceremony located in a secret garden in manhattan - a haven that Rose frequented during her work days- and held a special place in her heart. Afterwards, they went and partied hard at one of their favorite Bars and even ordered a Mister Softee Truck to cater to their guests as a dessert! It was SUCH a fun day and I was so excited to be a part of it and capture such a unique New York City Wedding!
Wythe Hotel Wedding Prep and Dumbo Loft Wedding in Brooklyn, New York City
Christina and Brandon had such an amazing wedding day. They began their day at the Wythe Hotel and then did their wedding photos at Brooklyn Bridge Park with Jane’s Carousel in their immediate backdrop. They then had their wedding at the Dumbo Loft -which is an amazing raw space that was beautifully envisioned and adorned by Christina and her amazingly talented friend, Becky! (Well Spring Writes) It was a gorgeous and touching ceremony, full of laughter, supportive friends and Dinosaur BBQ. <3 Good times of crazy dancing, a donut piñata; mobbed and attacked by the bachelors; and cigars to end the night. I’m always a fan of a raw wedding space where the couples get to choose what they want exactly at their wedding. There’s really no place like that except in Brooklyn! I am so thankful they chose me to capture their beautiful memories as their new york city wedding photographer! Nothing can top this.
