Round Hill Mansion Wedding in Hudson Valley, New York

One snowy February, with the magical essence of winter swirling through the air, Eliza and David tied the knot in the heart of Hudson Valley. Remarkably, it had snowed heavily a couple days before their wedding; but on their day, it was the perfect, warm 70 degree weather to celebrate their love. What are the odds? This vivacious couple declared their love, colorfully in the eclectic Round Hill Mansion. They gathered their loved ones to their intimate, charming, rustic wedding. Tucked away in a cozy manor, they all danced the night away, filling the ambience with cheeky giggles and bliss. It was a beautiful space and a wonderful atmosphere away from New York City. It was a nice change of scenery and pace from the typical new york city wedding!

A New Jersey Engagement Session in Mitsuwa Marketplace with Japanese Ramen

Meet Alex and Shekhar (pronounce shake-er).  These two are fun, silly, hilarious and totally fun to work with.  Alex is from New York City and Shekhar hails from New Jersey.  When we were brainstorming ideas and places for the session, we decided a bridge that brings together NY and NJ would be perfect!  So we chose the George Washington Bridge.  Knowing that, I also suggested going to Mitsuwa (a Japanese supermarket and food court) that was nearby.  This place also houses some of the best ramen on the East Coast- which worked out perfectly since Shekhar says their first date was over a bowl of ramen!  So cute! It’s great to be able to capture these moments as a New York City wedding photographer!

A Long Island City, New York City Wedding

Berdian is an amazing illustrator (Nickelodeon and Nick Toons!)  and Monica, a buyer at Barneys NY, fashionably tied the knot in Long Island City, New York. These two had been dating since high school!!  They both grew up in Queens, met in Queens and currently now work in Manhattan, so decided that it would only be fitting to get married in between the two boroughs.  So Long Island City was a very specific choice.  I loved their table numbers!  Each table represented their favorite foods and hobbies.  It ranged from from BACON, cupcakes, guitars to Xboxes. All the graphics were illustrated by Berdian, along with a beautiful sign-in illustration of the two of them  laying on the grass.  The wedding was a ton of fun, including some amazing dancing and costumes-- and a slow-motion booth!!!!! What an amazing way to have a wedding in New York City!

Jericho Terrace and Planting Fields Arboretum Wedding in Long Island

This wedding was full of some party-loving people. Everyone was so ready to have fun, take some awesome photos and really enjoy the day to the fullest. We were lucky enough to be blessed with a gorgeous day with beautiful light and everyone was in high spirits. Yuri, a California native was marrying Jonathan, from New York, so there was such a awesome mix of people from all over the country to celebrate their big moment. They had their wedding at Jericho Terrace and we did their photographs at Planting Fields Arboretum in Long Island. It’s so wonderful to photograph at those spaces and I’m very happy that I was chosen to be their New York City wedding photographer.
