Kassie and Jon were an awesome couple to work with!!! They were really fun and laid back. They wanted a casual shoot around their neighborhood in east Williamsburg, Brooklyn, to capture the essence of their everyday life and relationship. The two had shared an intimate proposal and was planning to get married out in Kansas City, MO. They had been living in East Williamsburg for a few years and are unsure if they'll be staying in NYC for long term...so to be able to document some memories in the neighborhood; that was really important to them. Exploring east Williamsburg was a lot of fun and there were so many great urban and industrial spots to shoot these two in! I love New York City and Weddings!
501 Union Wedding in Gowanus, Brooklyn in NYC
Laurie and Matthew travel a lot for work, but they call Brooklyn, New York City their home. It was fitting that their guestbook and table cards were themed for travel and airplanes. It was such a pleasure working with these two amazing individuals! They had a very carefree attitude and some hilarious comedian friends. Not only was their venue gorgeous - they had their wedding ceremony and reception at 501 Union — but every thought and detail put into the day was accordingly suited to showcase their personalities. We started the day getting ready and then walked around the Brooklyn neighborhood for their wedding portraits and finally ended the night with dinner at the 501 building. It was such a gorgeous, laid back and fun party and really is the type of feeling that is a classic New York City wedding.

Tribeca Rooftop Wedding in New York City
While living in Hong Kong for work, these two charming native New Yorkers lovers travelled all the way back to the concrete jungle, to declare their love to the world. Annie amazingly planned this timeless, perfect New York City wedding all the way across the world from Hong Kong! In the strikingly stunning Tribeca Rooftop, wedding bells were ringing for this beautiful couple. Despite the intermittent rainy weather, the rooftop at this venue was perfect for letting the bridal party have shelter when needed, and quickly grab flawless shots in the clear moments. Annie & Roberto blissfully celebrated the night away, surrounded by their loved ones, underneath the star-filled skylight. Cheers were heard all around the night for this newly wedded husband and wife! Another amazing night to affirm that I love being a New York City wedding photographer!

Public Resturant Wedding in Lower East Side Nolita, Manhattan New York City
I knew Mary Beth and Thomas were super awesome when I first met them. We chatted about their wedding day vision, their ideas, their style and their little Shiba Inu Pup! (View him in their engagement photos) I knew their New York City wedding was going to be a ton of eye candy... and I was going to have an amazing time getting some amazing new york city photographs.....and I totally did. It was hard to even edit down "favorites"... I had way too many!! They got ready at the Nolitan Hotel- which is a gorgeous Hotel in downtown new york city, beautifully designed lobby and space with a rooftop view of all sides of the NYC Manhattan skyline. One side, the Empire State building, another, the Williamsburg bridge and then the Freedom Tower. (WTC) Their ceremony and reception was held a couple blocks over at Public. Which was such a chic and elegant space. I personally love photographing around the Nolita area- love the juxtaposition of the edginess and elegance. It was such a great day!! We ended the night dancing away, their little nephew packing moves better than Bruno Mars and tattooing our bodies. A great night to be out and about in New York City photographing such a sweet wedding! Here are some of my favorites:
