These Canadians traveled all the way over to New York City to enjoy good food, good wine and.... and amazing engagement photography session! :) They wanted their session to encapsulate New York City and the concrete jungle that it is. We picked a few hot spots, Times Square, Central Park and the Brooklyn bridge .. and they definitely made it work. It was amazing because once we got to Brooklyn Bridge Park it was drizzling a bit... mostly fog perspiration... but it made for some amazing photographs!! It was even more great because they were both super patient, super laid back and was loving it because we were creating such memorable photographs and gifs! I had so much fun with these two,.. and definitely got some of the best photos yet in my career and again love being a New York City wedding photographer. Enjoy!!
A New York City Nolita Wedding - The Musket Room
Philina and Andy got married in a sweet community garden and park in downtown New York City, Nolita. It was an intimate affair, with just close family and then a sweet reception over at The Musket Room with friends. Philina works in the fashion industry, so her creative taste and mind had a huge part in the details, the dress and overall look of her wedding.. and it clearly shows that she has amazing taste!! Her flower crown was made by her mother in law and her wedding gown was an original Carolina Herrera design- because that was her boss!! And let’s not forget her amazing Jimmy Choo gold sparkle shoes! Their wedding was beautiful, romantic and fun. Andy and Philina both personalities that fit each other so well and their love for each other was magnified through their vows and their actions towards each other. Here are some highlights:
A New York City Upper West Side Engagement Photography Session
Shooting Melanie and Matt's engagement session was a TON of fun. They picked out a bunch of hot spots that they frequented when they lived in the Upper West Side in New York City. They chose the subway station they always got out of, the supermarket they always shopped at, the cafe they always got their sweets on and then the gardens they used to take strolls in nearby their old apartment. This entire engagement photo shoot was everything that represented their relationship-- and that's what made it so special. Even just being a part of the New York City traffic jams was all part of their lifestyle. Not to mention- I love shooting in the most unique places- supermarkets O__O!! Working with these two was so easy and fun and these photos definitely capture their relationship and personality. I love what I do and I love being a New York City wedding photographer. Here are some of my fav shots! Enjoy!
Urban Chic Wedding with an Intimate Ceremony at the Jefferson Market Garden and Reception at the Nomad Hotel
Annie and Stefan envisioned their wedding to be fun, intimate and best of all, allow their guests to have some amazing food. They decided on the Nomad Hotel because of their love for the food there and then chose to have their ceremony at the Jefferson Market Library Garden. It was such a beautiful space! The Library itself is gorgeous and the garden is this beautiful haven tucked away in the busy streets of New York City. It’s such a unique and special space to hold a wedding ceremony. They got ready at the Nolitan Hotel on the lower east side, then headed over to the garden and finally ended the night on the Nomad Hotel’s rooftop. It was a beautiful day!
