These Canadians traveled all the way over to New York City to enjoy good food, good wine and.... and amazing engagement photography session! :) They wanted their session to encapsulate New York City and the concrete jungle that it is. We picked a few hot spots, Times Square, Central Park and the Brooklyn bridge .. and they definitely made it work. It was amazing because once we got to Brooklyn Bridge Park it was drizzling a bit... mostly fog perspiration... but it made for some amazing photographs!! It was even more great because they were both super patient, super laid back and was loving it because we were creating such memorable photographs and gifs! I had so much fun with these two,.. and definitely got some of the best photos yet in my career and again love being a New York City wedding photographer. Enjoy!!
A Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Castle Wedding
Ruth and Blake definitely wanted everyone to have a great time at their wedding. From have the bar serving their signature mixed drink to their personalized cozies, it was clear that a party was in tow. Another great love of theirs is their dogs, which they included into the wedding! I got to meet their little puppies and photograph them as part of their bridal party. The wedding venue was a gorgeous castle out in Philly- very different from my usual New York City Weddings- and about an hour prior to their wedding, it was raining like crazy- however RIGHT when it was time to begin their outdoor ceremony-- the skies cleared and their ceremony was beautiful! It was definitely a miraculous occurrence and a blessing for their beautiful day! Here are some of my favorite shots:
A New York City Central Park and Upper West Side Engagement Photography Session
Meet Teresa and Lam! They flew all the way from LA, California to work with me on an engagement session in the great New York City!! It was really awesome-- I FOUND THE BUBBLE MAN in Central Park and we were able to work with them for some really cool shots! It was a very happy moment for me as a New York City Wedding photographer. I've always wanted to catch him in action during one of my shoots- and I finally did. It was really great working with Teresa and Lam- they were both so chill and fun to work with! After our time in Central Park, we went to Magnolia’s Bakery on the Upper West side of New York City to grab a small snack and finish up there.
Here are my favorites from the session:
Times Square, Grand Central Station and Brooklyn Bridge Photos in this New York City Engagement Session
Meet Tiffannie and John! Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Tiffannie and John have been preparing for their big day by traveling the world and getting their wedding and engagement sessions done. Having last been in Paris, France, they knew the next place they wanted to shoot in was the Big Apple- getting their engagement photos done in New York City!! So they called me, their New York City Wedding and Engagement Photographer, and wanted to get the most "New York" spots they could. We decided on doing their NYC engagement session at Times Square, Grand Central Station and finally at Brooklyn's finest, the Brooklyn Bridge! It was an extremely cold day (as following the tradition of the NYC 2014 Winter Polar Vortex year) and Tiffannie was a super-trooper, her final words for the shoot (even though she was freezing on the top of the bridge was), "It's all worth it!!!" Such an encouragement!!! :) Here are some of my favorite shots from their engagement session shoot that tooks us all over New York City!! I’m so thankful to be a New York City wedding and engagement photographer!
