DeVante and Tiffany had their covid-friendly outdoor wedding at Central Park with close family. The morning began with a little bit of rain, so we had the ceremony underneath the arches inside the Bethesda Arcade. After the ceremony we explored around Central Park and took some beautiful scenic shots around the park. They also had a moment where it was just them two, saying their own personal vows to each other. It was such a sweet day with a super sweet couple!
Crystal and Nick had their covid-friendly outdoor ceremony and reception at Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York City. We first got ready at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge - Crystal looked SO STYLISH in her wedding pantsuit (obsessed!) and Nick looking spiffy in his dark suit- the two looked great for our editorial-like photo shoot before the ceremony! :D The backdrop for the ceremony was perfect and they had a lovely intimate and sweet ceremony. With a handful of close friends and family, (and a webcam streaming to more friends and family) they exchanged their vows and rings (rings that they welded themselves…!) right in front of the view of the Brooklyn Bridge and NYC Skyline. Afterward, they had a lovely outdoor picnic and enjoyed their time together. It was such a sweet day and Crystal and Nick were amazing!! Here are some highlights from the day:
When you have a outdoor wedding in Fort Tryon Park, New York City — t's going to be amazing. Hands down. Lauren and Eric couldn't have planned it ANY more beautifully. The weather was perfect, their outfits were perfect-- and the florals for this wedding- everything blew me out of the water. Lauren and Eric are really down to earth, fun loving, food loving people. So they really match well with me :) Their sense of style also really resonated with me as well. Their wedding favors were mini Tabasco sauces that were entitled "keeping it spicy"!! HAHA! I die. It was so amazing.
One crazy part of this wedding was wayyy back, when they booked me, they were really excited to tell me about this awesome florist that Eric used to stop by at Brooklyn nearby their home all the time. But when they moved out of Brooklyn, the florist was so sad about them leaving, she even cried. They were THAT close to their florist- so now you can see clearly see how awesome these two are. So when they called her to do the flowers for the wedding-- she was thrilled! And boy did she create some gorgeous bouquets and decor! The best part too, is that when I met the florist, Kana (http://saffron-brooklyn.com/) ... I realized we KNEW each other and went to Laguardia (WOOT!) High School together!! What a small world!
Again, I really enjoyed every moment of this wedding day. Their families were both so awesome, funny and we shared some interesting moments together in the limo. I was so happy to be a part of their big day and thankful they wanted me to document it for them! They had their ceremony right in the park in Fort Tryon and then their reception at the New Leaf Restaurant - It truly is a HIDDEN GEM in New York City Weddings!

Joan and Chris live in the Sunset neighborhood in Brooklyn, NYC, and decided to have an intimate little ceremony at Brooklyn Terminal Park with close family. Originally they were planning to get married on one of the Caribbean islands but because of this year’s pandemic- traveling would be out of the question. - things had to be a little different! Instead, they decided to pick their neighborhood park to host their wedding ceremony! We first got some photos at this cute abandoned factory that had SUNSET written on it’s windows (super cool!!) and then wandered over to the Brooklyn Army Terminal (where Chris told me they filmed parts of JOKER at!) and got some cool shots inside and around the area. Afterwards we met up with the family at Brooklyn Terminal Park at the tip of the pier; and with an amazing view of the New York City skyline, they said their vows and promised themselves to each other. It was so sweet! I love these types of days, photos, family and heartfelt vows are really what make the day so special!!!
