Romantic & Chic Urban New York City Wedding at the Fotografiska Museum and Veronika Restaurant

Lauren and Niko wanted to have a wedding that was fun, free, and filled with memorable moments. We started our day at Grand Central for their first look. Niko hails from Queens, New York so getting married in an intimate ceremony overlooking the Queensborough Bridge was so meaningful. Afterward, we walked around the city to some really cool photographic locations and delicious foods (Lombardi’s Pizza and Little Cupcake Bakeshop). We love New York City! They had their dinner and reception at the Veronika, which is the restaurant inside the Fotografiska Museum - so naturally, we took some photos in the exhibit showcasing the work of David La Chapelle! It was a freaking awesome day!!!

Outdoor Elopement at Brooklyn Bridge Park and 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Crystal and Nick had their outdoor ceremony and reception at Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York City. We first got ready at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge - Crystal looked SO STYLISH in her wedding pantsuit (obsessed!) and Nick looking spiffy in his dark suit- the two looked great for our editorial-like photo shoot before the ceremony! :D The backdrop for the ceremony was perfect and they had a lovely intimate and sweet ceremony. With a handful of close friends and family, (and a webcam streaming to more friends and family) they exchanged their vows and rings (rings that they welded themselves…!) right in front of the view of the Brooklyn Bridge and NYC Skyline. Afterward, they had a lovely outdoor picnic and enjoyed their time together. It was such a sweet day and Crystal and Nick were amazing to work with! So glad I get to be a new york city wedding photographer capturing these beautiful and heartfelt memories. Here are some highlights from the day:

Windy Rooftop Photoshoot and a Sweet Elopement in NYC

Rizalene and Nico got married at New York City Hall. Before their ceremony, they got ready at the William Vale Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We headed up to the rooftop of the hotel and boy was it was WINDY!!! So windy that at some points, Rizalene’s hair would be blown straight up! It was so fun though and we love the rawness of what we captured! Next we headed over to Manhattan to Cityhall and had their ceremony with close family. We then ended the elopement back in Brooklyn and got some awesome shots at Domino Park.
